Contracts Manager – Hydraulics:
We’re on the lookout for a seasoned Contracts Manager to join our team and take charge of ensuring projects are delivered smoothly on time, and within budget.
Reporting directly to the General Manager – Hydraulics, this role puts you at the heart of some exciting projects within the Mining and Oil & Gas sectors.
A Day in Your Life:
- You’ll be the go-to for all things commercial, managing relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Preparing contracts, RFPs, and tender documents will be second nature to you.
- Handling contract variations? No problem – you’ll ensure obligations are met and loose ends tied.
- Collaborating with your team to craft accurate, competitive bid submissions will be key.
- You’ll scout and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they tick all the right boxes.
- Risk management will be part of your toolkit, helping to keep projects on solid ground.
- You’ll make sure contracts meet all the necessary legal and company standards.
- Negotiations will be your strength – securing terms that work for everyone involved.
- Sharing your commercial expertise with colleagues and senior management will keep things running smoothly.
- And when the occasional dispute arises, you’ll step in and sort it out, with help from the legal team when needed.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- At least 5 years in a Contracts Manager role – this is a must-have.
- Hands-on experience in the Mining and Oil & Gas industries.
- Leadership skills that inspire confidence and communication skills that get everyone on the same page.
- A sharp eye for negotiation and conflict resolution, paired with the ability to manage relationships like a pro.
- A knack for building and maintaining strong, trusted working relationships.
