The Role:

Looking to enhance their team in Western Australia, our client is in search of an Experienced Estimator to join their ranks.

This pivotal role will be at the heart of their tender processes, ensuring precision in project evaluation and cost estimation from initial stages right through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough reviews of tender documentation and project requirements.
  • Engaging in site visits for comprehensive scope appraisal.
  • Preparation of meticulously accurate cost estimates aligned with both client and company standards.
  • Facilitating tender reviews, clarifications, and detailed risk analysis.
  • Taking charge of leading tender proposal reviews alongside senior management.
  • Ensuring seamless project handover from estimating to operations post-contract award.
  • Committing to continuous improvement through the review of past works.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated expertise in pricing Blasting and Painting, Concrete/Asset Remediation, and Maintenance.
  • A self-starter with the proven ability to work independently and effectively source tenders.
  • Preferably possessing a background in Civil Engineering with proficiency in design.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction, or related disciplines are highly regarded.
  • Exceptional planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in essential software tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
