About the Role:

We’re looking for a seasoned Lead Estimator to dive into the details of high-value tenders, crafting precise cost estimates and developing risk strategies that set the foundation for successful project delivery. This role will see you working closely with senior management, clients, and project teams to ensure every tender is a winner and every project runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Tender Mastery: Analyzing tender documents, identifying key requirements, and ensuring every detail is captured.
  • Site Scope Visits: Leading on-site assessments to understand project-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Cost Estimation: Developing accurate, well-documented cost breakdowns that align with both client and company standards.
  • Risk Analysis: Identifying potential risks, quantifying their impact, and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaboration: Partnering with senior management and project teams to refine proposals and strengthen bids.
  • Seamless Handover: Ensuring the transition from tendering to operations is smooth and all necessary information is clearly communicated.
  • Post-Project Reviews: Analyzing completed projects to identify lessons learned and improve future processes.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with a clear understanding of tender processes.
  • Problem-Solving: Confidence in analyzing challenges and providing practical solutions.
  • Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
